2023 books to screen adaptations update

2023 Books to Screen Adaptations

Here are all of the expected 2023 Books to Screen Adaptations. Based off of both projects that already have release dates and rumored because of their production status, this list will be consistently updated!
For now I’ve broken it down into three categories- movies with set release dates, series with expected future seasons, and new adaptations in production or expected including streaming and theaters.

UPDATE: Due to the SAG-AFTRA strike some of the releases for later in the year might be delayed! (Like Dune part 2 being pushed to 2024)

Curious about previous projects or waiting for a release later this year? Check out last year’s 2022 Book to Movie and TV Adaptations.

I find this to be a very exclusive list of upcoming productions. Why do they assume everyone is subscribed to streaming or other forms of service in order to see these shows. I already pay enough for the right to watch t.v. by satellite. Why should I have to pay for all these extra subscriptions as well. Ludicrous!

Interesting list! An upcoming adaptation I’m personally looking forward to is George Orwell’s “1984” by Diana Ringo.
