2024 Books to Screen Adaptations: The Exciting List Of All Adaptations Expected
There are so many incredible 2024 Books to Screen adaptations already in the works. From the much anticipated Wicked movie, to more seasons of everyone’s favorite Bridgerton siblings, and many more favorite characters being brought to life on screen–it’s shaping up to be a GREAT year of adaptations.
It’s still very early so the list isn’t very big, but as we’ve seen the last few years it grows very quickly!! Streaming has been a home to adaptation after adaptation leading to a golden age of seeing all the best and favorite stories hitting the screen.
Being able to choose not only which format between movie or series, but also being able to write a script and figure out how many episodes it will take to best tell the story is one of the best things to happen to adaptations. No worries about having to fill a certain number of weeks for a network and drag it out.
UPDATE: Due to the WGA & SAG-AFTRA strikes some of these release dates might get delayed!
Make sure you sign up for the The Adaptation Watch newsletter, sent out every Saturday morning with all of the latest news on any & all adaptations. Don’t worry about missing an update when it’s coming straight to your inbox!
And don’t forget that if you have a specific title you’re looking for more information on head over to the Everything We Know So Far Adaptation Masterlist which has a list of every single book that has it’s own post with all the information available.
