About The Book:

As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn’t believe in lasting romantic relationships–but her best friend does, and that’s what got her into this situation. This project is still in the very early stages of development.
 

The Love Hypothesis Adaptation Timeline:

The book was first published in September 2021 and spent over 40 weeks on the New York Times Best-Sellers list.
In October 2022 it was announced that the book had been optioned for a film adaptation.
 

Who Owns The Rights:

Bisous Pictures acquired the rights with plans for a film adaptation. Bisous Pictures is a new romance label under MRC Films with their first production being the 2022 Persuasion adaptation for Netflix.
 

Who Is Attached:

As of Summer 2023 there have been no casting announcements or names attached to the film.
